The

Signature Ceremony

A ceremony your guests will remember long after the confetti settles.

Your ceremony isn’t just the bit before the party.

It’s the moment that kicks the whole thing off. The moment you stand in front of your favourite people and make one of the biggest promises of your life.

So it’s worth getting it right.

Together, we’ll create a ceremony that tells your story, celebrates your relationship, and feels natural from start to finish. Whether that’s heartfelt, funny, romantic, or a little bit of everything, it’ll sound like you—not something copied from the internet.

Is this the right package for you?

FAQ

Most Signature Ceremonies are around 20–30 minutes, but there’s no set time. We’ll make it as long or as short as feels right for you.

Absolutely. If you’d like to write your own vows but aren’t sure where to start, I’ll send you plenty of guidance and examples to help.

Yes! I’ll send you a draft before the wedding so you can check everything is accurate and let me know if you’d like anything changed.

The main legal requirement is applying for a New Zealand marriage licence through the Department of Internal Affairs before your ceremony. Don’t worry though—I’ll guide you through the whole process and make sure you’ve got everything sorted before the big day.

I’m based in Hamilton but officiate weddings throughout the Waikato and beyond. If you’re getting married a little further afield, just flick me a message and I’ll let you know if I’m available and whether any travel costs apply.

As soon as you have your wedding date and venue locked in, I’d recommend booking your celebrant. Popular Saturdays during spring and summer can book out well in advance, but if your wedding is coming up sooner, get in touch anyway—I might still have your date available.

Of course! If there are special people (or four-legged friends!) you’d love to include, we’ll find a way to make them part of the ceremony. Whether it’s a reading, a ring bearer, or involving your children, we’ll make it work.

Pretty much! As long as it’s somewhere in New Zealand and you have permission to use the location, I’m happy to meet you there. Whether that’s a winery, a beach, your family farm, or your favourite spot in the Waikato, I’m all for making it happen.
