Meet your celebrant
Born and bred in the Waikato, I’m a wife, mum, coffee enthusiast, professional organiser of just about everything, and someone who genuinely loves bringing people together.

My love for weddings started during my university years while working at Woodlands Estate. I spent weekends and summers helping weddings run smoothly, watching all the little details come together, and seeing couples celebrate with the people they love most.
Even after moving into a career in finance, weddings always had a way of pulling me back.
I’ve been with my husband since we were teenagers, so I’ve always had a soft spot for a good love story. I never get tired of hearing how couples met, what they’ve been through together, and the little moments that led them to their wedding day.

Like many couples, our wedding didn’t quite go to plan. We brought it forward so both of our dads could be there before they passed away. It wasn’t the wedding we’d originally imagined, but looking back, it was exactly the wedding we needed.
The most important part of any wedding is standing beside the person you love, surrounded by the people who matter most.
That experience reminded me that while the flowers, styling and timeline are all lovely, they aren’t what make a wedding meaningful. It’s the people beside you and the story that brought you there.

Becoming a mum has given me a whole new appreciation for love. It’s messy, exhausting, funny, overwhelming and absolutely incredible all at once.
It has also reminded me that the best moments are rarely the perfectly planned ones.

I want ceremonies to feel relaxed, genuine and natural. The kind where your guests laugh at the stories they’ve heard a hundred times before, wipe away a tear when they least expect it, and walk away feeling like they witnessed something real.
One of my favourite moments happens just before every ceremony begins. While everyone else is watching for the bride, I’m usually watching the groom. After years of working behind the scenes at weddings, I’ve learnt that the look on someone’s face when they first see their person says everything.
If you’re looking for someone who’ll keep things calm, guide you through the process, settle the nerves, and deliver a ceremony that feels effortless on the day, I’d love to help.
